Frequently Asked Questions
A few common questions families and individuals often ask when exploring support.
-
Consistent, ongoing support allows trust, familiarity, and momentum to build over time. Monthly packages provide stability, flexibility from week to week, and a more supportive experience than one-off visits.
-
This is non-medical, lifestyle-based support. I do not provide medical care or personal care services. Support focuses on movement, routines, nutrition, social connection, and daily life — always within an individual’s abilities and comfort.
-
This service is well suited for older adults who value staying active, engaged, independent, and connected through every stage of aging, as well as for families looking for consistent, thoughtful support for someone they care about.
-
Visits vary depending on the individual and the rhythm of the day. Some visits may focus more on movement, strength, meal preparation, or daily routines, while others are quieter and centered around conversation, social connection, outings, or practical support.
Each visit remains flexible and responsive, naturally adapting to energy levels, preferences, and what feels most supportive in the moment.
-
Limited evening visits are available and can be discussed during the initial conversation, depending on current availability and fit.
-
Support begins with a brief, no-pressure conversation to talk through goals, routines, and needs. This helps ensure the support offered feels aligned and appropriate before moving forward.
-
Yes. Support is flexible and evolves as needs, abilities, and priorities change. Goals are revisited regularly, and communication with individuals and families is ongoing.
-
Communication is tailored to who I’m supporting and what feels most helpful.
If an individual is working with me directly, communication happens naturally during our visits. We check in regularly, adjust goals as needed, and allow support to shift month to month based on energy, interests, and ability.
When families are involved, I provide updates based on your preference — after each visit, weekly, or monthly. Updates may include general observations, progress toward goals, changes in routine, or anything that feels important to share.
My goal is to keep everyone informed and aligned, without creating unnecessary pressure or overwhelm. Communication is always respectful, transparent, and centered on the individual’s dignity and privacy.
